The KAPTON window has a 10 mm diameter, providing a stable and X-ray-transparent area suitable for monitoring material changes during testing. The positive cover is coated with 99.9% pure aluminum with an approximate thickness of 1 um, ensuring chemical compatibility and reduced background scattering during XRD measurements.

For optimal measurement quality, the use of synchronized radiation is recommended.
