ZHCLAB PCR Plate Sealing Films provide secure, contamination-free sealing for 96-well PCR plates, qPCR plates, ELISA plates, and microplates. Available in three formats to match the specific requirements of standard PCR, real-time fluorescence detection, and long-term sample storage – each certified DNase free, RNase free, and PCR inhibitor free for use in the most sensitive molecular biology workflows.

## Film Formats

**Clear Adhesive Film (Standard PCR)**
A high-adhesion, optically clear polypropylene sealing film for standard PCR, sample storage, and general microplate sealing applications. The pressure-sensitive adhesive provides a strong, evaporation-resistant seal across all 96 wells when applied with a sealing paddle or roller. Flexible and conformable, the film adheres securely to both flat-top and raised-rim plate formats. Compatible with all standard SBS-footprint 96-well plates. End tabs with perforations for easy handling and removal without adhesive residue.

**Optically Clear Pressure-Sensitive Film (qPCR Grade)**
A specialized optical-grade sealing film designed for real-time quantitative PCR (qPCR) and fluorescence-based detection assays. The ultra-clear, low-autofluorescence film provides an unobstructed optical path for fluorescence detection – ensuring accurate signal transmission across all wells without background interference. The pressure-sensitive adhesive (press-and-seal) activates upon firm application, providing a secure seal that prevents evaporation and sample loss during thermal cycling. Non-fluorescing adhesive eliminates signal distortion. Compatible with Applied Biosystems, Bio-Rad, Roche, and most major qPCR instrument platforms. DNase free, RNase free, PCR inhibitor free.

**Aluminum Foil Self-Adhesive Film (Sample Storage)**
A triple-layer reinforced aluminum foil sealing film for long-term sample storage, light-sensitive assays, ELISA, and cold storage applications. The aluminum foil construction provides a complete moisture barrier and blocks UV and visible light transmission to protect photosensitive samples. Self-adhesive design requires no heat sealer – simply peel and press. Pierceable with a pipette tip or robotic probe for direct sample recovery without removing the seal. Compatible with standard PCR plates, deep-well plates, ELISA plates, and storage plates. Dimensions: 83x130mm to fit standard SBS plates.

## Usage Notes

For all film types: ensure plate rim and well surfaces are clean and dry before applying. Apply firm, even pressure across the entire film surface using a sealing paddle or rubber roller, working from the center outward to eliminate air pockets. For the optical qPCR film, apply in a consistent direction to avoid uneven adhesion that could affect fluorescence uniformity. For aluminum foil film used in cold storage, allow plates to equilibrate to room temperature before peeling to prevent condensation under the seal. All films are compatible with standard SBS-footprint 96-well plates with raised or flat rims.
