**Ultra-Thin Well Walls for Optimal Heat Transfer**
Uniform thin-wall construction ensures rapid and even heat distribution between the thermal cycler block and each well – critical for consistent denaturation, annealing, and extension across all 96 wells simultaneously. Uniform wall thickness eliminates well-to-well thermal variation that can compromise amplification efficiency and quantitative accuracy.

**Broad Thermal Cycler Compatibility**
Standard 96-well SBS footprint is compatible with all major thermal cycler platforms including Applied Biosystems QuantStudio, Veriti, and 7500 Fast; Bio-Rad CFX and C1000; Eppendorf Mastercycler; Thermo Fisher ProFlex; and most other 96-well block instruments.

**Skirt Format Options**
– *Non-Skirted (0.2mL):* Maximum thermal cycler compatibility. Lightweight, easily cut into sub-sections for partial plate workflows. Preferred for instruments with tight well-block tolerances. Standard profile for universal fit.
– *Semi-Skirted (0.2mL):* Half-height skirt provides superior plate rigidity for automated liquid handling, robotic pipetting, and high-throughput workflows, while maintaining compatibility with most standard thermal cyclers. A12 cut corner for orientation.
– *Non-Skirted (0.1mL):* Low-profile format for fast thermal cyclers with shorter block depths including Bio-Rad CFX384 Touch, Applied Biosystems QuantStudio Fast, and other fast-ramp instruments. Reduced well volume minimizes reagent consumption in high-throughput screening.

**Convex Well Rim Design**
Raised rim around each well aperture creates a tight seal when used with adhesive films, foils, or cap strips – minimizing evaporation and preventing cross-contamination between wells during cycling.

**Black Alphanumeric Labeling**
High-contrast black alphanumeric grid (A-H rows, 1-12 columns) on the plate surface provides clear well identification for accurate sample tracking and data recording.
