The integrated flat cap is optically clear, enabling direct fluorescence detection without removing the cap. Flat cap geometry provides uniform light path transmission for consistent signal detection across all wells – essential for quantitative PCR accuracy. The cap is molded as a single part with the tube, eliminating cap-to-tube fit variability and ensuring a uniform, evaporation-resistant seal with less than 5% reaction volume loss when used with a heated lid.

**Ultra-Thin Wall Construction**
Thin, uniform polypropylene walls allow rapid and even heat transfer between the thermal cycler block and the sample – critical for accurate denaturation, annealing, and extension cycles. ## Usage Notes

For qPCR applications, ensure caps are fully seated before placing tubes in the thermal cycler block. Use with a heated lid to maintain pressure and minimize evaporation – reaction volume loss is less than 5% under these conditions. Centrifuge briefly at low speed after loading to bring all liquid to the tube bottom and eliminate air bubbles. Compatible with all standard 0.2mL thermal cycler blocks and tube-compatible centrifuge adapters.
