ZHC LAB’s Plastic Keck Clips secure standard taper ground glass joints in laboratory glassware assemblies, preventing joint separation during reactions, distillations, reflux, and vacuum operations. Each clip is molded from high-quality POM (polyoxymethylene), a rigid engineering polymer with excellent chemical resistance, impact resistance, and wear resistance. POM Keck clips will not corrode, scratch, or contaminate glassware surfaces, and tolerate temperatures from -40deg C to 100deg C (-40deg F to 212deg F). Color-coded by size for instant identification in the lab. Each pack contains 10 clips of a single size and color.

USAGE NOTES: Select the clip size matching the outer diameter of your ground glass joint – the number (14, 19, 24, 29) corresponds to the joint outer diameter in millimeters. Squeeze the clip open and snap it around the joint connection with the open end facing outward; the clip should seat firmly against both pieces of glassware. Do not use above 100deg C – at elevated temperatures, substitute stainless steel Keck clips. Clips are not resistant to concentrated oxidizing acids or halogenated solvents at elevated concentrations; inspect regularly and replace if cracking or deformation is observed.
