Ceramic Tip Precision Tweezers, Stainless Steel Handle, Heat Resistant to 1500 deg C

ZHC LAB’s Ceramic Tip Precision Tweezers combine a zirconia ceramic working tip with a stainless steel handle for applications requiring non-conductive, non-magnetic, heat-resistant, and chemically inert gripping. The ceramic tips withstand temperatures up to 1500 deg C (2732 deg F), making these tweezers suitable for holding components during soldering, brazing, flame work, and high-temperature material characterization. The tips are non-conductive and non-magnetic, eliminating the risk of electrical short circuits or magnetic interference when handling sensitive electronic components, thin films, or magnetically susceptible samples. The stainless steel handle body is thickened to 1.6 mm for improved rigidity and wear resistance, with a sandblasted surface finish that provides a comfortable, non-slip grip. Available in three tip configurations: straight pointed for fine detail work and component placement, curved (large radius) for angled access in confined spaces and coil manipulation, and flat (wide) for secure gripping of flat or broad workpieces.

DIMENSIONAL SPECIFICATIONS:
Straight Pointed Tip / Black Handle: overall length approximately 5.1 inch (130 mm), ceramic tip, stainless steel handle with black sandblasted finish
Curved Tip (Large Radius) / Black Handle: overall length approximately 5.1 inch (130 mm), ceramic tip with large-radius curve, stainless steel handle with black sandblasted finish
Flat Tip (Wide) / Black Handle: overall length approximately 5.1 inch (130 mm), wide flat ceramic tip, stainless steel handle with black sandblasted finish
Tip material: zirconia ceramic, white
Handle material: stainless steel, sandblasted finish, 1.6 mm thickness
Heat resistance: up to 1500 deg C (2732 deg F) at the ceramic tip
Properties: non-conductive, non-magnetic, chemically inert tip

COMMON APPLICATIONS: Holding components during soldering, desoldering, and reflow operations; coil building and wire manipulation during heating; precision placement of electronic components on PCBs; handling samples during flame tests, thermal analysis, and high-temperature material characterization; gripping chemically sensitive specimens in corrosive environments; jewelry making, watchmaking, and fine craft assembly; laboratory sample handling where magnetic interference or electrical conductivity must be avoided.

USAGE NOTES: Select the tip shape appropriate to the task – pointed for fine placement, curved for angled access, flat for broad gripping. Ceramic tips are rigid and heat resistant but can fracture under sudden lateral impact or excessive bending force; avoid dropping or prying motions. Handle the tweezers by the stainless steel body, not by the ceramic tips, when applying clamping pressure. Clean tips with a soft dry cloth or isopropyl alcohol; do not use abrasive pads. Store with tips protected to prevent chipping. Replacement ceramic tips with screw mounting are available separately.
